Esma is a new two row European variety that is bred to be a malt as well as a feed barley. Esma has storter stronger straw compared to Austenson as well a slight yield boost.
Ideal conditions
Esma can handle more moisture and varying climates better than CDC Austenson. Esma's short strong straw helps to preserve it's high quality seed.
